Eat Mor Plants Infographic poster educates its audience on the benefits of a plant-based diet, reducing animal product consumption. It is not meant to promote any specific lifestyle, rather, it is meant to educate on the health benefits of eating more plant-based foods & reducing our carbon footprint whenever possible.

BACKGROUND
INFOGRAPHIC BASED ON INTERACTIVE PROJECT
Eat Mor Plants is a printable infographic poster made from the infomation gathered for a previous Adobe Animate interactive app school project. The project educates its audience on the benefits of a plant-based diet, reducing animal products & waste. It is not meant to promote any specific lifestyle, rather, to help educate its audience on the health benefits of eating more plant-based foods.
All illustrations for both the Adobe Animate interactive app version, as well as this printable large infographic poster, were made in Adobe Illustrator. You can view the Adobe Animate project at Eat Mor Plants Interactive Infographic.
PARAMETERS
PROBLEM:
Create a printable poster version of the Eat Mor Plants interactive app.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
The audience for this infographic is family-friendly. This is an educational piece meant for all ages.
CONSTRAINTS:
Turn around time for project was roughly six weeks.
TASKS:
Initial audience & content analysis, analysis of wireframes for previous main interactive app pages & the interactive app (Adobe Animate), & analysis of all previous imagery illustrated for the interactive app was completed & redesigned for the 16" x 32" printable infographic poster version, via Adobe Illustrator.
DESIGN RATIONALE:
Since this project started with the interactive app version, the existing colorways & font families were reused wherever possible to keep the uniformity to the projects. The hues were chosen in warm, earthy families to keep the piece relevant to the subject matter & concept.
SPECIFICATIONS
The logo for this project was created prior to the website. The color family was selected to coordinate with HEX values #D7DF23, #39B54A, #8BD7F7, #F3E7DB, & #8B5E3C, for a down-on-the-earth feel. The font family Monserrat was chosen for its cleanliness & ability to feature several weights for emphasizing. Font family Carrotflower was chosen for its handwritten feel. An image library was created in Adobe Illustrator for its brand-defining character. The title was meant to mimic a popular fast food chain, with the cows and their signage boards. Mock-ups were created as necessary in Adobe Photoshop.
