PARAMETERS
PROBLEM:
BarkBox desires an interactive ad that can also function for print. They want to highlight their November BarkBox product.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
The client wants to attract their broad audience of men & women, roughly ages 18-65, in need of pampering their pooch. Their clientele has a sense of humor & extraneous income to spoil their four-legged friends.
CONSTRAINTS:
Turn around time for project was roughly two weeks, with imagery being catered to the advertisement creation & highlighting the brand.
TASKS:
Initial audience & content analysis, imagery (Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator), & animated gif made in Adobe Photoshop.
DESIGN RATIONALE:
The client requested the interactive ad to feature a November promotion in an entertaining way. The brand likes to play on humor, so the concept helps turn every pup into a silly turkey for the holiday product.
SPECIFICATIONS
The logo for this project was supplied by the client. Color family was selected to coordinate with HEX values #000000, #D92148, #FFCC75, & #7C391A. The font family Poppins was chosen for its cleanliness & ability to feature several weights for emphasizing. The client specifically requested a feel in line with these HEX values and the font family. An image library was supplied via existing photoshoots of the products, as well as stock photography chosen for its brand-defining character. Mock-ups were created as necessary for the product items.
